The SCHS JV Triton Lacrosse hosted the San Juan Hills Stallions at 7:00pm on a beautiful Wednesday San Clemente evening. Attack Cain Piho scored early off a feed from Lucas Anderson followed by two quick scores from Darian Nurian and Ian Sprenger (assist Logan Kerzie). Cain Piho added a goal late in the first quarter.

Lucas Anderson started the second quarter off by rocketing a shot at the goal and scoring off an assist from Darian Nurian. The Tritons then broke the Stallions with two back to back goals from Clay Stevens (Kevin Moore and Matthew Mead assists) and then two scores from Ian Jameson (assist Matt Rinehart ). Cain Piho completed his hat trick late in the second quarter. At the half the Tritons led 10 to 0.

In the third quarter Ian Sprenger (assist Logan Kerzie), and Travis Stansbury (assist Lucas Anderson) added goals. Coach David Rudge has preached all season long about winning games by winning the ground ball war on the field and the Tritons dominated the Stallions in this category with ground ball leaders Kevin Moore(14), Jacob Brison (9), and Logan Kerzie (6) leading the way. The Triton defense consisting of David Anderson, Austin McGowan, Tyler Bardzilowski, Matt Jackson, Ben Funk, Brenden Kim, Cameron Smith, Foster Million and Cody Adcock completely dominated and kept the Stallions from shooting on goalies James Ruiz and Brodie Collins.
