Coach David Rudge assembled a group of Freshmen and Sophomore Lacrosse players and took them up to Trabuco Hills High School to play the Mustangs on a hot Saturday afternoon. In the first Quarter Dakota Ruiz sliced through the Mustang defense, shot and scored to get the Triton scoring frenzy going. Ruiz then added a second goal off an assist from Brennan O'Toole. In the second quarter defenseman Cody Adcock scooped a ground ball, ran the length of the field and past to Dakota Ruiz who shot and scored. Kevin Moore, Brennan O'Toole and Dakota Ruiz also added goals in the second.

The third quarter was dominated by midfielder Dakota Ruiz who scored two unassisted goals and had two assists. Jacob Bryson and Defenseman playing midfield David Anthony added goals.

The fourth quarter brought more Triton dominance as Dakota Ruiz scooped up a ground ball, shot and scored and Logan Kerzie scored off a beautiful feed from Defenseman Matt Jackson. Jacob Bryson scored the final goal of the game.

Once again the Tritons won the ground ball war with Kevin Moore, Dakota Ruiz, Matt Jackson and Chase Clark combining for 34 ground ball possessions throughout the game. K. Moore led all players with 15 ground balls. Dakota Ruiz had his best game of the season with 6 goals and 2 assists as the Triton Defense (Defensive players: Anthony, McGowan, Bardzilowski, Jackson and Adcock) kept the Mustangs at bay throughout the game.
