As the weather warmed this weekend, so did Triton varsity lacrosse in their first outing against Irvine's Northwood squad. The Tritons scored 6 goals to Northwood's one in the first half. The Tritons used every bit of first half time as Freshman Robbie Burns scored the Triton's sixth goal (one of his 3) with six seconds left in the half. The Triton's midfield provided a brick-wall defense for most of the game. The Timberwolves could not catch middie English Mast in two three-quarter field foot races mid-game. Goals were also scored by Jonathan Kassity (2), Max Satossky, Charlie Satossky, and Justin McCarty. Thomas Ahola really earned his pay with 12 saves.

Final score: San Clemente 8; Northwood 4.
